98 cr-v with jdm b20b??
it looks like it is a whole lot easier to find a b20b instead the stock factory us spec b20 i was wondering is there any modification i have to do to put the jdm motor into my 98 crv? or everything is straight plug n play?
everything is plug and play dude i have a b20b in my ef and dude tell you the truth on the crv its just like changing out battries with the b20 on the crv if you whant to have more fun put a v head on it then your talking
no im not looking for any power its just easier finding the jdm motor the current one is not good so yea. i was talking to the password jdm folks and they said that i need to change the oil pump to the us spec???
im pretty sure that a b20b will drop right in with no modification, but thats just how it would be if you were to drop a b16 into an integra or civic. but i could be wrong..
you have to do the oil pump I think so you can add in the crank sensor so you dont have misfire codes. I did the crank sensor bypass on my ecu wireing, but I am still throwing the codes when I get on the highway!?
