95 accord no start... HELP
Hi guys i have a 95 accord lx auto non vtec. The other day i did some tune up stuff on it and now it wont start at all. I changed the cap and rotor and cleaned the egr ports out. After that it wont fire. Only thing i can think of is it was snowing like crazy when i did it. But after i got the snow out the dist. cap and dried everything still no start. I changed the plugs and wires and coil to see if that did anything. Nope. Im out of ideas and need some help/ suggestions. Help a brother out.... thanks in advance
The parts are aftermarket from a local store but they seem to be ok quality... there was a decent amount of snow under the cap and some moisture in the distributor, but I let it dry for a while inside yesterday and it didnt change anything. Also the wires are in the right order 1342 in the same rotation as the motor and i tried changing them around a few times.

dont ever change them around. just make sure the firing order you have the 1st time is right. i know a dizzy i had sitting outside got wet. even when i dried it out it still didnt work. you might need to get a new one.

It makes some low pops intermittently. Definitely doesn't want to start. When I checked the spark by pulling a plug out, connecting it and turning the car over it sparks but it seems slow dull and inconsistant. Also i pulled the fuel rail and injectors out as one unit an turned it over and they didnt spray, do they have to be grounded to the intake to spray? I kno the pump works cuz when i turn the key the pressuse pops out one of the injectors, since the rail is not bolted in.

The injectors do not require an external ground. They are supplied with system voltage on one side as long as the key is in the run position, and supplied a ground thru the ECM; which controls injector timing and spray duration.
The spark you mentioned: It has to be a bright Blue/White and consistant.
A question (if I might); how did you dry off the distributor cap and wires?

Thanks this diagram should help. The shitty book i have shows no orientation for the wires on the dist. so i may have it wrong... ill try it when i get out of work tonight.
Thanks for that diagram... i setup the wires just like that and it fired up fine... I was referencing my friends accord and he has #1 wire at the opposite end of the dist. Im not sure why they are exactly the same car, but mine is working good now as soon as this blizzard passes im gonna pull it apart again and make sure all my timing marks dist orientation and rotor are all matching. Thanks for the help guys
