Someone with skill to replace roof skin - needed -
I need someone to replace the roof on my 91 Civic Si in Miami FL.
I have the new roof and the car is completely stripped down, need to remove rusted roof skin and install the good one.
I dont have the tools/skills to do this.
Thanks in advance.

no they want what it costs to do it right. and you obviously have the wrong attitude considering youre talking about using jb weld...do you know whats involved in changing a roof skin in a unibody car? or any car for that matter? you cant just cut the old one out and throw some spot welds in there somewhere and put window weld around everything. you have to weld braces to the a,b, and c pillars to prevent the body from flexing. take it to a body shop before you ruin your car please.

relax dude, the jb weld idea was a joke.
I want to do it right, that's why Im looking for someone with the right skills.
To start with most body shops will not do it, and the ones that Ive talked to that are wiling to do it want 1k + to do it. For that I can just get a new shell, Im not trying to do a half-*** job, Im just looking for someone with the right skilld that is willing to help me and that I can pay him without having to sell a kidney.

OP, did you check that link i posted?

you are misinformed there...changing the roofskin on an EF is like changing a doorskin, the roof panel itself has NO structural value. wherever you got that info is wrong. you just remove the panel and install the new one. the end. all the structure is in the pillars. you obviously have not done this before.
