Use the search and look up replacing the blower resistor thingy. The EK coupes have that problem. Take it out and look at it first, then see if you need to replace it. There is a write up

I'm pretty sure you can get TSBs printed out at the dealership too. I might be wrong.

Google will tell you what a TSB is.

I'd show you the image of the Honda Service News (which is what I just posted - it's a type of TSB basically), but my computer for some reason won't allow me to upload anything.

Honda will know what a TSB is too.

I don't give out my email or email people I don't know. Sorry.

Beyond that, I would still have to upload images. I can't.

the slider is stuck on this position to. but if i slide it to the right(red) it goes all the way.
i read that it may be the climate control itself is the problem.

My 93 Civic's slider was hard to move also and so I troubleshot and researched it a month or so ago. There are a few possibilities here, all mechanical in nature. Without removing anything, you can try examining the linkage underneath the dash using the drawings at http://ww1.honda.co.uk/car/owner/workshop.html (95-97 manual; heater section). Try manually moving the linkage by putting your fingers on the peg (under the dash) to which the cable connects. Look for rough spots; clean and lubricate the linkages as needed. Get a lubricant from say Autozone, NAPA, or Pep Boys recommended for plastic-to-plastic contact. Dow Corning is supposed to make one. The point where the clamp attaches to the cable may have to be adjusted. You may want to pull the climate control, carefully noting the routing of the cable. You might be able to improve on the routing, especially if someone tampered with it in the past. The cable may have to be replaced. This is a problem area Honda has acknowledged with Civics circa 1992-2000.
