Icon2 Power window problems..Help!!

Here is a little history as to how the windows in my 97 accord LX got to be messed up. A while ago the front driver side window was starting to cut out when I would try to roll it up. Eventually it stopped working and of course, the window was down. I contacted my local dealer for a wiring diagram and (without thinking) dove right into trying to hotwire the window to make it go up. The end result of that ended up in the driver side front window completely non-functional AND the rear passenger window as well. After some searching around I got ahold of both window regulators and a new master switch. For some reason, after connectiong the new motor and switch, the motor still won't work. The other two windows work just fine (i have yet to connect the rear passenger one yet). Is there a seperate fuse for the driver window because it can operate independently of the window on/off switch? I mean seriously, what are the chances of this switch being bad as well? I don't have a shop manual yet, so I am hoping someone can help me out. Any little bit helps!

Try this first;

1. turn the ignition switch off
2. turn the wiper intermittent time ring to the middle position.
3. turn the ignition switch to on.
4. check the operation of all the power windows from the master
power window swtch and the power door locks.

This is called a Multiplex wakeup proceedure. The Multiplex Controller is like a logic module and helps control both the windows and the power locks. If this isn't successful, you may have fryed the Contoller.

This could be considered a dumb question, but what do the wipers have to do with it? And also I have been told that the so called window control unit is in the master switch itself. I am using a new switch, so I dont think its bad.

He explained that in the post. The wiper position is the way to trigger the Multiplex Wakeup Procedure.

Ok, went out and tried that. No luck. Also, I plugged in the new rear passenger window motor and it doesnt work either. Now I'm baffled. A new master switch and 2 new window motors. I'm lost.

Actually....for fun i just tore off my rear passenger door panel and hooked up the new regulator. That doesnt work either. Now I'm lost. Two new regulators and a new master switch. And none of it works.
