Default Cant get crank gear off help!!

Ive tried to pry it from both sides and it wont budge. I even broke 1 of the ears off on the spacer part by accident. Shouldnt it just slide off without any issues? Any help is appreciated. Pic of the gear is below

Yeah I guess I could try some liquid wrench on it then try to pry slowly. Ive tried a pry bar on each side and it still wouldnt budge. Hopefullt the liquid wrench will do the job

yes there is a key way, its supposed to b there just like the key way on the crank pulley. That gear should slide off there but for some reason its stuck. The block does have some surface rust from bein outside. Its getting hot tanked as soon as I can get that gear off so I can get the crank out

either pry on both sides at the same time, or get a gear puller. It should come off fairly easy though
