JDM EG6 with Traction control y21 trans LSD or NO LSD?
Have an oppurtunity to pick up a 93 EG6 with traction control option. Does that require the trans to have a lsd?

I think most of the TCS equipped civics came with an LSD, but thats just a guess. It is not however part of the TCS in any way. The TCS works entirely off the ABS system. Whenever one drive wheel spins faster than another drive wheel the faster wheel has the brake applied.
Im outside us, from nz. Own an eg6 equipped with tcs, and can confirm that this is not lsd as far as im aware.
It works by means of abs system to put brakes on the slipping wheel so more power can be transmitted to the traction wheel.
I think its rather the same principal but quite a different approach n purpose.
Sory to bring up old thread.
