where is the idle air control valve (b16a)?, and How do I clean or replace it?

Default where is the idle air control valve (b16a)?, and How do I clean or replace it?

I think my cars idle air control valve is sticky or not working very well. the motor's a b16a. anyone have any idea on how i could clean it, or replace it? any info would help tons, cuz i need my car working to be able to go to school. thanks in advance.

on the back of the intake, has 2 bolts, 2 wire connector, and 2 coolant hoses.

i dont know how to help but one thing is true about ht they really dont want to help people. once i asked about a code problem had no help. google was better.

from what i know about it you cant clean it.

Soak the damn thing in & out & all over in carb cleaner, then put back on throttle body.

^^^^gotta talk to the right people just pull the iacv off and spray it down with some air intake cleaner like brake clean, anything that will dissolve like denatured alcohol. i did it to mine and its fine. clean out the port that goes into the manifold to.

Wow, your retarded. Use the damn search button and YES you can clean a IAC valve.

Take it off, then spray it down with brake parts cleaner. Then clean it inside and out with a stiff bristle toothbrush.
