i don't know the place but you live in Cali. There are tons of guys that would help you do the swap at home for a lesser fee or some type of compensation. Save yourself hundreds and gain valuable knowledge. just get the motor from them. at 2700 half of that is labor.

i would do some it with some of my friends but we dont have anything that can lift the engine and the motor alone is pretty heavy.. and also they gotta ship it to my house which gonna cost more. hes charging 2500 for the front clip. but hes charging 2300 for juss the motor and tranny. 2700 with labor.

2300 just for the motor. i think you can get a better price. check out this thread.https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-prelude-4/where-best-place-buy-h22a1-1921963/. 300 just in labor sounds like bs. most shops will charge 700-1200 in labor. and you can rent a hoist from an autoparts store to get the engine in your ride. also, make sure to request the engine be delivered in a truck with a lift gate. when i order mine, it didn't have a lift gate. but mine was delivered to a shop so some how they got it off the truck.
