Default Is my car missing trunk trim panels?

If the seats are down i can see the bulbs in the tailights. Seems sorta weird to me. Am I missing a plastic panel to cover the tailights (on the trunk lid)?

It also seems as though there should be a panel cover the bottom of the rear speakers...is one supposed to be here?

Wow! No wonder why these cars have so much road noise.

Yep older civics were built to be relatively cheap and light. New ones are getting up there in price though, but you get alot more for your money.

I don't know if i'd say that. I think honda did a lot more to add creature comforts and sound deadening. However they also started cheaping out of suspension and engines. I can deal with a solid car having some road noise due to lack of sound deadening, I can fix that. But theres not much you can do about the shitty macpherson strut suspension and D17 engines in the '01 - '05 civics. Personally I think with the '92 - '95 civics, even the '96 - '00 you got a much better car, so far as the basic car goes for your money.

i agree... the only thing that impressed me on the 01-05 is that the motor was shifted more on the passenger side to compensate for driver weight.

06-present are pretty nice though
