Default what can i safely boost?

I have a jdm b18c, stock internals, How much boost can i safely put on that motor with a decent tune? I know that my pistons have higher compression that a regular b18c1, but is my block stronger that a USDM?

With a decent tune and the proper fuel you should be able to hit somewhere around the 300whp mark. The higher compression is a bit of a concern, but not too much of one. What fuel grade do you have available to you??

roughly close to 300WHP can be made safely on a GSR motor. GIVEN** you have some good tuning. NOT mail order tunes, not basemaps, not FMU's a real live in person tune by a reputable tuner. lastly, JDM is not stronger than USDM.

ok, that answers my question about the block, and no, i was gonna buy a hondata s300 and have a protuner with a dyno do it for me, my thing is i don't know some of the stuff i need, i know what to get as far as a turbo setup, but i don't know how to determine what size injectors to start off with, don't want to get the wrong size cause they aren't necessarily cheap...

if only 300 wheel some 680's would be good

you can get up to 880;s and have plenty of room to grow and the tuner will just have to " tune" around the larger injectors. itll take a lil longer but if they're good they can get them to idle smooth and run well

i have 750's and they idle great. car cranks up like my TL and Element.

this post will tell you how to turbo charge it. To start off have a power goal which you have. (you can make more than 300 safely ck out my signature) then from your power goal that's how you put your parts together. also look back @ the top of the page in the FAQ and there's a ton in there. Hope i helped you and good luck

my buddy came in with a 30r slapped on his bone stock gsr motor and pumped out 501 on factory everything lol. DO NOT DO THIS if you plan on driving the car alot. he just has stupid good luck. motors can handle quite a bit more than you would think just not that long lol. we cant all be lucky like stallmer. he ran like a 11.1 or something stupid at like high 120's we all thought it was gonna blow up on the dyno let alone make it to the track run those times and make it home. just dont do it.

you're asking how much PSI you can boost safely? we dont know what kind of turbo you are gonna use. Like eveyone else said, you can do around 300whp safely, and make sure you get a good tune. The JDM b18c is a high comp motor (i have one, but replaced the rods and the pistons) so there is less room for error.

Default Turbo Package cheap!!

Have you already acquired your turbo package. I have a complete kit here in San Jose Ca. The deal I can offer you would pay for your shipping. I am a general contractor that accepted the unit as partial payment from one of my customers. Was going to be the perfect gift for my son for Christmas but he sold his car yesterday!!
