ok so im currently painting my car, i like the primer color alot so i plan on keeping it then clear coating it (ive seen it done before) the primer is Duplicolor's "Sandable primer" By wet sanding it, will it remove the streaks and make it all even? Thanks, MUCH appreciated

ok, whats a good number to start with? I was thinking, 600 grit, then 1000, then 1200, then 1500?

 

start with the 1000 unless your paint uh primer is really jacked up

 

You really don't need to do all that, Try 800 and see how it looks.

 

there are some parts where it looks like little sand bits, hard to explain but ill try the 800!
