94 civic door lock
Lock-Ease (liquid graphite lubricant) is effective often in fixing situations like this. Available at Wal-Mart and the like. Either the key or the lock plates in the door's lock's cylinder wear; more likely the key. Follow the bottle's directions. Otherwise, disassemble the door and lock cylinder, clean thoroughly, and get a new key but only from the dealer. These sites can help with the lock disassembly:

If the tiny lock plates inside the cylinder look worn, go to the junkyard and pick up four or so lock cylinders and cannibalize for the correct lock plates.

rem oil has been awesome for me. its cheap and you can get it at any gun stores. ive used it for years. just spray it in with the straw in the tumbler, spray it in, then work the tumbler with key
