Default D15B swap into EJ2, P08 or P28 ECU?

Going to be buying the D15B and tranny swap from HMO next week, but can't decide if I should buy the P08 ECU or use a P28 ECU. If I bought the P08, will it plug right in and work with no problems? Since the car is USDM, I'm not sure if the harness is different. I also heard the D15B is a single wire o2 even though it's ODB1, this true?

Also, I'd like to replace the water pump and timing belt as well. What USDM counterparts could I buy? Z6?

P08 ECU uses a 1 wire O2 sensor. The P28 is close enough that it will work reasonably well, but ideally it should be tuned.

Use a timing belt and water pump for the D15Z1 ('92 - '95 VX) The tensioner does not exist at all in north america, the closest is one for a D16Z6 ('92 - '95 Si) Basically anything related to the head buy for a Z6, if its for the block buy for a Z1

I done a d15b swap in my brothers 95 dx and this is what i used.

-D16z6 engine harness
-Stock p28 ecu
-92-95 vtec-e timing belt and water pump
-4 wire o2 sensor

if you run the d16z6 wiring harness and p28 ecu then 4 wire o2 will be fine.

So will I have any issues running the P28, will I be able to rev it out? Might run a little rich?

Thats what i'm running, stock P28, been running it that way for over a year, and while i'm sure its running a little richer than it should it doesn't smoke or smell like gas and i'm getting about 40MPG. Ideal solution is to get a P28 and then chip it with P08 maps.
