ls vtec wont start
i just bought a ls vtec and everything was fine. i let it sit for a few days while i got the papers straight, when i went back to drive it, it wouldnt start. its not the battery because all the lights and radio come on and function as normal. when i turn the key there is only a clicking noise. this is kinda unusual but then again i am new to hondas just looking for some help.
That battery could be dead since the radio and those other stuff don't need a lot of power to operate.
That clicking sound is definitely a symptom of a weak battery when trying to start the car. Check your terminations on the battery to see if they are clean and tight. Corrosion build up needs to be cleaned off the battery terminals and cable ends.

Do the lights dim when you try and start the car?
If not, it's not a low batt. or connection issue, unless it is the batt. connection to the starter motor solenoid.
Pop the hood and have someone try and start the engine, if the "click" is comming from the starter motor solenoid, make sure the batt. connection is tight, if it is then have someone hold the key to start while you give the solenoid a sharp tap or two with something heavy, [hammer, big screw driver, lug wrench].
If engine cranks and starts pull the starter and replace the solenoid.
When checking to see if nut is tight on batt. cable connection, [disconnect batt. neg.(-) cable] use an open/closed end wrench so you can see the stud itself, [not a socket] look carefully to see if the stud itself turns, [even a little].
Let me know what you find. 94
