Default 5th gen will not idle! I've searched.

My prelude has 240 compression across the board. Spark/Air/Fuel. What could cause this problem? The car is able to be driven but once it reaches operating temperature it will not idle. Since I am running an H22A. I had to replaced the H22A head with a H22A4 head, and I am using a H22A4 head gasket. Could it be the H22A4 head gasket? The H22A head has been rebuilt and I have the correct gasket. Do you think swapping out the H22A4 head for the original H22A will fix the problem?

I am not sure if it was bleed correctly. Do you mean the coolant? The timing is correct!

The same thing happened to me! Turns out #16 and #24 vacuum hoses were crossed at the left shock tower. This caused the EGR valve to stay open because it coudnt bleed off vacuum. Check it out.
