Default question about h22/f23 = G23 vtec

hey there, i was planning to put a k20a swap into my 98 hatch, but i just cant get the big bills ,, i heard that you can do the same hp with a frankenstein f23a short block with h22a and b16 trany with the h2b kit for much less than a k20 ,,
i just want to see if anybody has comments about this setup is it worth it or anybody had bad experiences

thanks Leo

i was planning to do this to my integra. although i was going to use a h23 port and polish head (stage 3) by JG that ive had for 6 years or so..
however i came up on a 99 prelude sh, with a blown motor. so then its going to be G23 frankenstein...
which will leave me a spare h23 long block, that will be for another vehicle down the road... already have the H2B kit, and transmision...

your setup that your planning to do is suppose to get you to 12-13 sec on a quarter mile..

There is plenty of info about the swap in the Hybrid section. You should do a search over there. Or at least post over there, because you'll get far more responses than you will here.

Here's just one of many threads from that section (I believe it's the same build as the one in the link Hill4589 posted):
