Hybrid H build and stuck
building a hybrid motor for my cb7 wagon. planning on turboing it but I just wana get the motor built. I was trying to make an h23 vtec with an h22 block by using the h22 and f22 parts(f22 is same as h23). I have found very little on using the h22 block. my question is which rods do I use(h22 or f22)? only diff is 1.5mm if I remember right. Also would it be worth the effort just to go ahead and get it bored to 89mm? with the 89mm bore and 95 stroke I reach the 2.3 displacement. My power goal is 500 whp. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks
Current numbers
bore 87.5 (darton sleeves in h22a block)
stroke 95 (f22 crank)

Why worry about mixing and matching parts for .1L of displacement if you're going to use a turbo? Stick with H22 internals and keep it simple. You'll have other headaches to deal with when going forced induction in the 500whp range..
IMO.

Re: Hybrid H build and stuck (2point2)
only reason I even considered it was for the torque. I want the torque because in my wagon thats a good bit of car to move.

man if your goin for 500 hp turbo and your talkin about borin it out. you are not going to see the difference between the h23 or h22 just use all h22 like he said keep it simple, don't make it harder than it needs to be. GL
