Default What would you do first

I just sold my 2000 accord and im going to be buying a 93-2000 civic, and i want to make this thing fast. Ill have about 1000-1500 bucks. What would you do first? I would boost it , but i would be scared to blow the engine. So do you think should go , exhaust, headers, intake? i would like a greddy exhaust they sound great but what you guys think.

if you do an intake and header, and decide to go boost later, thats a waste. you can find decent used stuff, to do a budget turbo build. i have a new (old never installed ) sfp manifold and t4 turbo, i dont want to alk price here so pm me if interested, but also, what trim civic you looking at?

if it is a dx, look at getting into a mini me.

your gonna need more than 1500 bucks to go fast. Also depends on the trim level of civic you get whether it be 99-00 SI which has a b-series motor, dx, ex, lx, si, cx, vx, depends on what motor comes in the car. First thing to get things started and to make it fast, would either be swap out the tired old stock motor for a LS or b20, cause thats in your price range or just do a cheap turbo kit that wont be reliable cause you only got $1500.

if u want to go boost but dont wanna spend much money...i would say get a civic with a Z6 or drop a Z6 in it maybe put some cams, springs, vavles, than turbo it....cant go wrong with that set-up...that **** be quick!

IMO yea!...unless u can get hooked up with a car with a swap already....but i like to buy my car stock and build it my self....soo i know what iv done to it instead of just know that theres a swap in it but that just me....but with ur price range...i would stick to a single cam motor, pertty much most stuff for a single cam is half the cost of a b-series...single Vs has ALOT of potential
