OK, i just bought a 94 ex coupe from the original owners, old *** man and lady, anywase car is great d16z6 with 5 speed manual, i have had lots of hondas but this one has weird problem,


PROBLEM IS, they said is been happening for 4-6 years and never got worse or better,

problem is that when u drive theres a clicking noise click click very fast coming from tranny ???


does anybody know what the hell it could be ?

its like its in the lower gears but im not sure, but its kind of laud and faster i go faster it clicks ? but shifts perfect no grind/slip etc ???

 

ok i just went for quick drive its almost in all gears but manily in first 1,2,3 and all it is is clicking, faster the faster the clicking, and if i press clutch in . NEUTROL theres no sound ?

You can still drive the car like this but the noise is annoying.

 

I had A SIMILIAR PROBLEM. I just change da clutch an it solve da problem. Doesnt sound like a clickin sound to me. More like something was rubbing. But mayb we had differant problem. Not sure. But hope this help

 

i don't wanna thread jack but does it sounds like its hitting vtec at low rpms? lol cuz that's my problem right now
