my friend is puttin a b16 a head on a gsr block what does he need
i told him the basics like head gasket and stuff
what mods do u guys suggesst?

What manifold is he running? Pistons?

I would change the headgasket of course, valve cover gasket, cam seals, and intake gasket.

just get a port and polish on the gsr head and throw ctr cams in there, then u'd be set over the b16 head.

 

yea if he had a gsr head reasd the question

 

a ported and polished b16 head on a GSR block would be a good setup, just as long as u put in some higher compression pistons. without the pistons, the C/R will drop a little bit.

out of those 2 heads, the b16 head will make more power if u use high lift cams! i will be doing this setup within the next few months. still saving for my b16 head to get the bath!
