Icon2 Del sol Master brake Cylinder

I just bought a del sol that's missing the master cylinder.
I noticed while shopping for one online that there are two different kinds?
One for non Vtec non ABS model, and one for Vtec with ABS?

My Del sol is a 94 ans has disk brakes in the rear , not drums.
How do i find out if i need to get the ABS version of the master cylinder?
Do i have ABS?
Does anyone here know if it maters at all?
can i use any Del sol master cylinder that will fit?

Also does anyone know of any reputable brands or should i stick with OEM?
Thanks

So you have an si well the only civic that has abs is the ex-s which pretty rare so no you dont have abs i have a 94 del slo si and they do not come with abs...stay oem if you wanna save money but there is not really a point in upgrading it at all
call you local honda dealer they will give you just about every detail

Thanks a lot man. You have been a big help.
I think i will be buying an OEM part off of Ebay then.

I'm amazed at the quick response.
WOW we both live in Austin!

You only have to look to the right of the master cyl, theres a huge aluminum block with mucho wires and brake lines if it has abs.

btw, I have had success using a remanufactured Master cylinder from Oreilly with out a problem. I know that some will not agree on going with reman stuff, but so far have never had a problem and they all come with lifetime warranty. If you have 170 dollars to spend, go with OEM Honda new. But for 29.99 you can get a remanufactured one from any parts store with lifetime warranty. Just make sure to bench bleed before installing. ATX!!
