EG non-si... swapping in jdm GSR and using sohc si harness... few wiring questions
so this is a 92-95 eg, the motor is 96 jdm gsr... i was told that using a sohc wiring harness would make things easier... i have the whole front clip of the gsr so i can pull out any ecu wiring that i want... i wanted to just use the whole gsr harness including engine and ecu side and just plug n play but the wiring is reversed since its a RHD clip... therefore would the sohc vtec engine harness be the way to go? if so, since its a vtec harness, don't i just run a knock sensor wire and thats it? im still searching for some pin-out diagrams in the meantime... a p72 ecu is going to be used... i have searched this question
but havent found specific info... and i still am searching

it actually makes more sense to get a '96 - '01 USDM GS-R harness, otherwise you're agoing to have to convert a bunch of connectors to OBD2 versions, or get an OBD1 alternator, distributor and fuel injectors. you will also need to run vtec wiring from the ECU to the passenger's side shock tower plugs unless your civic happens to be a '92 '92 only civics (all models) are pre-wired for vtec from the ECU to the shock tower plugs.
