Brake problem or bad tie rod?
This started happening today. I drive and when I brake hard its ok.... once I slow down to about 15-5 MPH and apply my brakes I start to hear a clicking sound on the left front side. Brakes are good and car drives fine but does anyone know whats going on? Tie rods were fixed in April. It is now four months and there aint any way that the tie rods are bad unless I got hustled by my mechanic. Does anyone think it might be the break pads? Could it possibly be that I may need more brake fluid? I have no knowlegde of this and hope u guys can help me out!!! Thanks!!
I'm experiencing the same problem.. check out my thread and tell me if it sounds familiar. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=244913
No metal bending sounds. The sounds that it makes is the same when you drive in the rain and your break pads get wet and you slowly let off the break it makes that noise. Its the same noise except it happens even if the pads did not get wet. Any suggestions?
Grab the tire and try to move it, (i.e. see if it wobbles) it could be your ball joints. The same thing happend to me and it turned out to be the upper control arm ball joint.
check also if you already need some greasing. it's the tie rod end if it creates a knocking sound when you turn the steering wheel.
