B16a2
I've got a b16a2 but wanna go gsr, but im gonna boost it in a couple months and ive heard that b series have thick walls so its good for when your going turbo. So should i keep the b16 or go gsr?
A lot of misunderstanding here I think. The "GSR" is a B series. It's called a B18C1 here in the U.S. Either engine will work fine with boost as long as the proper precautions are taken when adding the turbo. Also, if you plan to run much more than 8 - 10 psi, you will def. need to do some internal work. Tuning is always needed with a turbo setup as well. Good luck!
Give me a break...8-10 psi with something like a basic greddy kit would be about the most you would want to run with a simple tuning device. I was just letting the OP know that you just can't get a GSR and boost it to 25 psi safely. I was speaking more about the fact that the OP was unaware that the GSR is a B series, and that the "cylinder walls are thick." Don't be an *******...Thanks!
