I have a 94 civic ex and in the ride I only have a mod y-header pipe, and cp cold air intake. I have questions about an exhaust system that I am getting tomorrow morning. I am getting from cat-back. So I believe this place does custom piping. What design or shaping would be good for my vehicle? Also the mufflers that they have are like dyno, magnaflow and other brands around that price range. Which muffler should I get if I want a deep breathing sound? And I know that the end doesn't matter too much because I am not producing that much hp but would 2.5 or 2.25 be better for my car? Or is this something personal? Plz respond I would really like help. Thanks a lot.

 

well the shape, bends, etc. of the exhaust that would be "best" for your car is too hard to describe online. It needs to be engineered. However, I doubt that your muffler shop has an engineer on site. So just make it so that it has as few bends as possible. On a civic, that's hard. It's going to have a lot of bends.

2.25'' is around the stock size for 96-00 EXes with the 1.6L single cam. Usually, aftermarket civic catbacks are around 2.3x'' in diameter. 2.5'' is a bit big. 2.25'' is a bit small.

It's difficult for anyone online to build you a custom exhaust. Especially by tomorrow morning. I'm pretty sure you just posted this because you were excited.
