Icon2 Advice on Swap: Civic si 93

New to Hondatech and hondas somewhat. This is the car im thinkin about gettin it’s a buddy of my cousins who got me into the civics and has going to cut me a little break on the price. my question as every other newbies -_- what would be a good swap into this si if I grab it. It will be a daily driver for a while but im not concerned about that but what would a good full swap around 5 g's give or take. I’d like it to be Simi simple and reliable and not have to be wrenchin on it every other weekend but still of course quick jump with a decent top out. I will have asstanince from my cousin who can help me with any trouble I run into. b18 turbo'd? k ser? My cousin has given me his opinion but would like some other ones. Any advice is appreciated.

Honestly, Only because i have MAD love for the SOHCs I would turbo that. With 5 grand give or take... You could have that thing so nasty and including suspension and some minor Exterior stuff, And be looking at low 13's. Just my opionion tho.

idk about all that but blue isnt a color of mine but for 5,500 $ itd cost me more to grab a stock and do whats done correct me if im wrong... but i was thinking about going with a turbo but im really not sure as u see... but i guess another question is what is a good median for a daily driver but running a good q/t mile time. . im only gonna drop 5 to 6 g's at first but build as needed...and yea i do like SOHCs as well so lets say i still happen to grab a si stock what would it take money wise to have it runnin 10's (kinda confusing going from daily driver to a 10 sec car but tell me what u think on either ?'s)

You can either shop around and buy the same car without all the rice garbage for a couple thousand less than the asking price on that pile, and then have even more cash to make a really nasty car with good parts all around, or you can drop the $7k on that thing and then spend that next $5k on therapy to deal with the trauma as a result of most other Honda enthusiasts laughing at you wherever you drive.

I'm just kidding I'd say do what you want, if you like it then buy it. What would you like to get out of your car? What goals do you have? It's definitely not my taste in the way a Civic should be made, but if you like it then go for it.

yeah, im not sure what i was thinkin earlier. that civic is super sweet dawg!!!! and if you ever plan on running anywhere close to 10's your not going to do it with a pos ricer civic with some candy paint, 18" chrome rims, LED's, gay boombox, or an amazing rocketship bodykit.

if you want to run 10's with that car you're going to have to get rid of all that junk in the trunk.

This car is not for you.. buy an evo or sti or something like that.

Do what your senior class does and buy a BMW or whatever... while you own that read up on hondas
