What engines can drop into a 92 civic Dx? D15? D16?

Default What engines can drop into a 92 civic Dx? D15? D16?

92 civic dx just blew. Not sure the engine code on it. Local guy has a d15xx @ 152k from a 92 dx. (this should bolt right in, right??)

Or a d16xx @ 175k from an 89 integra. ( would this bolt in?)

What other engine codes will fit into this with no other modifications. (alot of these engines don't come with mounts or axles, so unless I find some, i'm stuck with my stock ones.)

just buy a b-series swap and get it over with

any 92-00 civic d-series motor will bolt right up with all stock 92-95 civic mounts

any 94-01 integra b-series motor will bolt right up in a 92-95 civic with all integra mounts ,shift linkage ,axles ,engine harness and 94-95 ecu

any 90-93 integra motor will right up with 94-01 motor mounts, mount brackets ,tranny ,shift linkage and 92-93 integra ecu
