2000 Prelude Intake Manifold?
Hey guys, a buddy of mine has a prelude with the original h22. He has a short ram intake. We're looking for more power, and thus are looking at Skunk2 intake manifolds. They seen to be popular among the h22 motors, and I was wondering what input you guys have as far as this goes.
-Is skunk2 a good brand to go with?
-Should we get a throttle body too?
-Is installation hard?
-Do we need a specific tune to go with it?
-Do we need to get any other parts to go with it?
We have the money for it so cost is not an issue.
Thanks for your input guys.

Don't forget the faq's.
My 2-cents: Skunk2 is reputable as a brand, but the IM for the H22 does not seem to do well for most people; most have gotten better results from the Euro-R mani. If all you have is a short ram, you will probably not see any real gains, and will probably lose power down low. Your money is better spent elsewhere if you're looking for power. If you're hell-bent on it, then yes, a bigger TB is usually in order if you're looking to move more air through the engine, and you might be able to get them port-matched if you order it straight from S2. Installing IM's is a huge pain, and you have to make sure you don't break the knock sensor in the process. As usual, you should always get a good tune for maximum optimization.
