K20 intake on h22
So I have recently heard that you can put a k20 intake on a h22. I am planning on getting the skunk2 adapter for the the IM and TB. I was wondering if anyone has done this before with good results. Also what IM would be best? RBC is what I am thinking.. It would it be worth the skunk2 IM and TB. Let me know everyones opinion. Thanks

Why? The only reason guys are doing this is to clear the firewall on Civic swaps.
If you want a better manifold, figure out what your end goal is, and go the appropriate route, i.e. euro-R, modded stock mani, or big sheet metal manifold for boost.

I am definitely going for n/a. And yes more clearance is nice.. Also a k-series has more room to make power. Was wondering if that was better then just upgraded an h22 IM

Re: K20 intake on h22
The adapter from Skunk2 doesn't work on a straight H22A swap... and it doesn't work in a Prelude either. It only works on a H2B swap configuration. The problem stems from the combination of the engine leaning back toward the firewall plus the downward slope of the intake manifold runners and plenum. Contact between the intake manifold and the rear mount and/or "T" bracket is common.
The fix would be to create an adapter plate that is pie shaped when viewed from either end on edge, building in some upward angle to reduce the interference between the I/M and the rear mount and "T" bracket. The problem with this fix is that it would place the fuel injectors in a less-than-optimum spray angle and my concerns would be that the HP gained from a manifold change would be offset by the loss in fuel delivery efficiency... so I ultimately made the decision to stop further development on this product. I did share my thoughts with Skunk2 and they did agree that a re-design would be necessary to cover more applications, but as of this writing, this hasn't happened yet.
Time will tell.

For the cost of supporting parts to get a K intake on a H you could have built a nice euro-r or buy better intake meant for a H. Just because its from a "K series" doesnt mean its the end all, be all, of oem intakes.
Yes they can be badass, but the cost vs reward/ bang for buck is pretty low..... You could build a euro-r H intake that uses K series injectors while costing less with pretty much same results.
