Heres whats happening I had a pretty nice ek, turboed and a bunch of other stuff done to it. Then I got out of the honda game for about a year and the car stood in my garage. Now, I decieded I want to get rid of the turbo for better gas milage, and perhaps sell it. I removed the turbo, installed new oil pan brought everything back to stock. installed oem fuel pump, injectors, ecu. basically stock. Now my problem is when I try to start it it won't. It turns over but the engine gets flooded with fuel. If I take out the injectors, just pull them out of the manifold and then try to start it, it starts only 1/4 of fuel from the injector spray is making into the cylinder. I've tried replacing the injectors, ecu, fpr.

is it the correct ecu? what injectors are you using? check your throttle cable too

 

if you take out the turbo and just run it like that, then you HAVE to tune it.
since you had a turbo in there(i assume that you got it tuned) the ECU is sending more gas to the injectors cuz of the extra air that is going inside the chamber. have it tuned again to reduce the amount of fuel

 

everything went back to stock, the ecu, the injectors, i used a p28 before, now its back to stock, i took out the resistors out of the fuel lines, everything is stock.

 

oh. you used a p28 when you had it turboed now its back to stock ecu???
hmm.....

 

literally everything is back to stock, except I put in a y8 manifold, and i had that in there before i turboed and when it was turboed i was using a skunk2 and now i put everything stock back on.

Yah, I still can't get it started, today i checked the check engine light, it ran a code 14 ivac. I replaced the ivac and checked all the wiring to it and all the tubing and it all looked fine, but the car is still getting to much fuel i replaced the fuel pump again and still no engine start I have spark, I have fuel, but it just wont start.

Is the ecu your using now tuned for the turbo, just try getting your hands on a stock ecu..

 

god damn ppl cant read these days, he said everything is back to stock, meaning everything, to the op, i dunno wut ur problem is, srry.

 

i read it all. are you using the stock injectors too? did you use an adjustabel fpr? fuel filter maybe? other than that idk sorry

 

yep stock injectors, I already had the injectors tested they are fine I've been working on hondas for like 6 years and my dad is a honda mechanic and I have no idea whats wrong I've replaced every sensor I could think of, my last attempt before a full swap is that I'm going to replace the wiring harness, mabe theres something wrong with the wiring, i just don't want to swap the engine because this one has like 27k miles on it .
