With 85.5mm sleeves, i would be staying away from it unless your goals aren't that high and the price isn't either

It wouldn't be bad as a ~300whp street car. It would be decent with a 60trim T3. VS a stock-sleeve B18B in a street car, it wouldn't be that great. You'd simply have more torque everywhere with the B18B, and the theoretical wear from the longer stroke's side-loading would be equaled by that 15k. You would also want a great cooling system, since the 85.5mm will be far more prone to blowing HG's due to heat.
For pricing purposes, I'd treat it as a stock-sleeve block with extra displacement. $1k might cover it, unless it was beat on the entire 15k. I've seen the GE guy here offer really decent prices to re-resleeve one of their blocks, but you'd still have to get new pistons afterwards. However, that would put you VERY close to the price point of building your own sleeved B18B, which would have 0.2L more displacement over that 85.5mm block.
Overall I'm always against sleeving a B16 (they'll never have the torque a longer stoke can provide), so IMO its junk.

if you know the history of the block and trust the guy your getting it from then i dont see any issues... ppl boost stock blocks with xxx,xxx miles on them with new internals and dont have problems. I dont see how 15,000 miles on a sleeved block is hurting it any? There alot stronger than stock blocks and i'd boost a stock block with 15,000 miles on it without thinking twice.
Just make sure u know the bore to be sure... 84.5mm and 85.5mm is a pretty good difference when buying a sleeved block

Im having a hard time believing its sleeved with the new GE sleeves and it has a block guard. Maybe if it was an open deck sleeve like Benson. I just don't buy that its the NEW STYLE GE sleeves with a block guard.
has anyone here even seen a GE sleeved block before? their sleeves have a built in "blockgaurd" which is nothing like the pile of **** blockgaurds people stuff into the tops of sleeves thinking its gonna help something. they are about halfway down the sleeve.
