Hey guys,

Just wondering what model of car i should get a high-flow cat and cat-back exhaust for...for the stated set-up? I know I'll need to get a cat with a 2.5 and 2.25 inch outlet...

Any ideas? I don't want to run a test pipe...Thanks!

I would go w/ a 2.5 in/out carsound cat and custom 2.5 inch exhaust pipin to whatever muffler u want. Cause the B20 needs to breath for highend.....plus the JDM type-R 4-1 header comes out to a 2.5 collector. Match that w/ a 3 inch ITR AEM cold air intake and ur car will fly even more. That is the setup i am in the process of getting now. Hope it helps.

 

 

yea. hybridgarage.com has an a.teo 2.5" cat for $130. from what i've researched basically the same thing as the carsound but cheaper. then jus get custom 2.5" piping like the guy said. mebbe put a magnaflow resonator on there to quiet it down and top it off with a magnaflow/es oval 2.5" muffler. get mandrel bends if u can.

 

That is what i got exactly on my car....sounds soooooo good and and deep and low not even loud........sleeeper.........and the system is better then any bolt on out there.
