which carsound cat?
I need a high flow carsound cat for my soon to be exhaust: JDM 4-2-1 into 2.5in/2.25out cat into 2.25 piping into 2.25 in/out muffler. I can't seem to find a part # on their site for the size I'm looking for.

I don't believe Car Sound offers a universal cat with a 2.5" inlet and a 2.25" outlet. Your two main options would be either to have a reducer flange installed on the outlet of the cat or to have a tapered 2.5" -> 2.25" flange installed on the B-pipe. I'm curious, though, why you would want to run a 2.25" exhaust system with the "JDM-sized" header if you'll be constructing the entire system?

well the inside diameter of the itr header is actually less than 2.25" isn't it? ...anyways I guess most people would suggest going with 2.5" all the way through? I'm just looking for low to mid range gains for daily driving

geta 2.5" in and 2.5" out high flow. That's what I'm running on my turbo setup right now. Works great. For your NA app you'd like it.
