Where did you find your transmission?

I see many serious drivers using this trans for there various setups, but they are the transmissions I see the least. I never seem to find a good source. Any help would be appreciated.

the market place here has them once in a while but they usually get scooped up right away. your right that transmissions are hard to find and something like that is hard to trust off of ebay. check out any local forums you might be surprised, I was, and im sure in texas there has got to be a little bit more of that stuff then here in Winterpeg

 

Isn't the ITR tranny (S80) the same as the GSR tranny?

 

no its not.

GSR:
1st - 3.230
2nd - 1.900
3rd - 1.360
4th - 1.034
5th - 0.787
final - 4.400

JDM ITR:
1st - 3.230
2nd - 2.105
3rd - 1.458
4th - 1.034
5th - 0.787
final - 4.785

plus the ITR has the helical LSD
