so i remember reading something about how to change it but i cant remember exactly, i see a little screw at the top but which way do i turn it to make it idle at like 1000?

 

screw it in or out and listen. =P check the gauges. Not too hard

 

you cant really change it unless you take the iacv out of the picture. the iacv will automatically change the idle back to factory if it can. if you adjust that screw too much your idle will lop up and down.

just leave it factory

 

jump the connector before you adjust, its almost like adjusting timing

 

There is a Fast Idle Control under the intake, right below where the intake tube goes. There are two screws on the back.. Take them out and start your car. Then there is a big white screw. Turn this in and out until you get the idle you want.

In= Lower idle
Out=Higher idle
