vafc questions??

Default vafc questions??

This is kinda of a dumb question but here it goes.I have not driven my car for a while and it seems that the VAFC lost its programing.If i unplug it from my computer will my car run on the stock progam with no issues?

i hate to say it, because everyone else usually does too, but afc's are junk. especially if your car isnt turbo'd. when you tune with them and you're tuning your a/f you're actually changing timing too, which again if you're turbo'd isnt very good, especially if you dont have any way of monitoring your knock, i'm sorry that this was a little off topic of your question but seriously, they, to me, are useless. i had one on my car for a good year, it basically did nothing but look cool, so i sold it

if the vafc lost its settings then your car should be running off your ecu's stock settings
