Default Pulling Out the Radio

How difficult is it? Anybody have a quick step by step procedure?
I've gotta get the serial number off there so I can get my radio code...

there are two bolts that hold the radio in from behind. You can unbolt or even unscrew it (philips #2).

If you can't reach it, remove the ash tray assy. Reach thru there and remove the bolts.

The radio should slide right out.

warning: lots of sharp edges back there....dont cut yourself like i did and bleed all over the carpet

Take the out armrest, console etc. I tried taking it out by crawling under the passenger side, and its got little room to work with, Wear some gloves, cause my hand was all bleeding by the time I got it out.

Flux, do you have a Helms manual? If you are going to be doing stuff on your own It's a great resource to start off with. It helps me a lot.

Easiest way...

Remove armrest plastic, remove plastic piece around hand brake, then remove ashtray area

After I did that, I layed with my back on the passenger side floor with my legs out of the car and reached up underneath. I only had one screw in holding in the CD player....
