Default h24 87-89mm oil in rad

so yeah im getting oil in the rad but not in the oil pan just curious what kind of head gasket you guys are running that have the h24 engine the motor has less then 500 miles on it i have arp head studs on this set-up it is also fully built and sleeved by ERL preformance the head gasket that is on the engine now is an oem honda and it was sent to golden eagle to be overbored/machined to 89mm so i am kind of lost on this is it possible that the oil cooler is bad which is causing the mix of oil and coolant any help or point in the right direction would be great thanks mike

Oil and coolant mixing is usually headgasket problem. I don't think I've ever heard of the oil cooler giving up in any car. I don't think an OEM headgasket would work in your situation since the cyl bore is 89mm.

my first guess would be headgasket also. Im not really sure how you would rule out the oil cooler though.

Volume (cm^3)= Pi*radius^2*height*4(cylinders)

3.14*(8.9cm/2)^2*(9.07cm)*4 = 2256cc = 2.3 liters

A 2mm overbore does not make your motor a 2.4L.

The route you should take is to remove the oil cooler and see if it will hold air pressure through the coolant line.

do a pressure test on the coolant system. it should hold at the pressure you put it on and if it drops then you can worry about something being bad.
also what oil cooler are you talking about? my h22 swap is just fine and i dont have an oil cooler anywhere. the old auto h23 had one for the trans but not the engine.
is it an aftermarket one or did you do something different with the radiator?
and also by saying "oil in the radiator but not in the oil pan" is that supposed to be an oil/coolant mix in the radiator but not in the oil pan?

what? no oil cooler?. Its under the water pipe at the back of the block. Its what your oil filter screws into!
