Default H22A + EG CIVIC + Powersteering

Is there anyone out there using the EGH2 hasport kit with a H22A in an Eg civic running powersteering?

If so, can you please post up pics.

i got the 97 pump and bracket especially to put p/s in but its still damn tight, still had to trim the headlight housing and i gotta get the reservoir fitting off the pump modified.

i thought with a 97 and up prelude pump and bracket it was supposed to be a bolt in affair?

heres a pic i found but whoever owns or did the swap has used the 92-96 pump and cut a massive chunck out to make it work. plus they're using different mounts. so back to my original question.

With our ESP kit we were able to keep the Power Steering with Factory Brackets. It is a tough squeeze Just need a custom PS line and to run a 3 ribbed belt instead of 4.

My setup is about the same. 92-96 pump and bracket, pump bracket notched with a die grinder and a slightly tweaked EG hatch high pressure line. Core support had to be cut a little to clear with innovate mounts

This is the best pic I have of what you want to see. You can kinda see where I had to cut back the pinch weld on the core support to clear the pulley and the hose to the reservoir

Fair enough. I'm investigating the same thing, except I'll be H2B.

Best method I have so far (for my application) is to run the power steering pulley in a serpentine fashion - so it uses the same belt as the alternator pulley. Can't imagine it would be that hard. Would just need to fabricate a power steering pump bracket, and possibly an idler wheel bracket. But it could definately work.

I've gone off the EPS method as it seems that you must either have the pump running fully on max, or a variable control in the cockpit for when you need assist like parrallel parking etc. Unless you want to mess around installing the EPC ECU, and sensors etc.

Anyway, bump for you.

Chris
