H22a Eg civic power steering probs
Hi all, long time reader, first time poster
Im putting a h22a into an eg4. The problem is, the power steering won't clear the radiator support.
I have tried using the 92-96 lude p/s pump but there is no way it will clear.
Then i tried using the 97+ lude p/s pump but again it will not clear.
Then tried the 97+ lude pump with the 96 pulley (which is smaller) and it still will not clear.
This is all on HCP mounts.
Does anyone have any advice or pictures? Ive tried searching but they must be using different mounts because it seems like I will have to cut almost half of the rail away with the 97 pump.

Re: H22a Eg civic power steering probs (stocky)
i used my h22 jdm power streering pump in my dc2, all i had to do was trim the pump down a little for the ps line to clear. I also have hcp mounts.
I think the eg is a little different sence the rad support is closer but heres a right up on how to make it fit. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=922811
hope that helps

Re: H22a Eg civic power steering probs (lak8)
I saw that but I though he may have been using different mounts.
He only had to trim the spot welded part on the support. It looks like I would have to trim to where the headlight mounts.
Ill see if I can get pics.
