I got a crx from a guy and he rewired the whole cd player. It works fine except for it doesent store any memory at all. When you start the car you have to manually get it out of demo mode every time and this gets annoying. Is there a wire that he may have not connected or connected wrong? This is in a 1991 crx si. Thanks

 

sounds def. like a power issue. check how hes got the power wire. same thing happens when u disconnect ur battery but u already know that.

 

12V switched and 12V constant wiring is backwards. swap those two wires.

Sounds like the memory wire is hooked up the battery wire.....memory wire is usually yellow

 

yeah like ballin tha ef said, just hook the yellow to a constant power. problem solved.
