I have a H22 in my 96 hatch,car has ran great for about 3000 miles,and then yesterday the car just stalled... It getting fuel,timing is good,and compression is good.. There is NO SPARK though.....Here is the weird thing,I was testing the coil and stuff and got tired of messing with the car and went to turn the car off,I still had the coil wire disconnected from the dizzy,and laying on the fire wall.When I turned the key to the off position it fired.. It will do this everytime I turn the key on then back off... There is no spark with the key turned forward... I need to get the car going soon,anyone have any ideas?

 

did you try to change the icm

 

Yes,new one and new coil...The dizzy is supposed to have 3000 miles or so on it.

 

did you try a another ecu

 

no I havent,Im using an AEM,and I hope its just loose wiring somewhere...

 

try another distributor, bad ignitor maybe
