grease comeing outta axle
i just got my car outta the tire shop like a week ago and the guys a the tire shop told me my pass. side axle was leaking grease. well i thought it was just them tryin to get business but now there is a grinding sound when i start driveing. does anyone know of a grease bushing on the axle that i can just keep putting grease in it till i get the money to fix it?
once the boot is split and it starts clicking/grinding they pretty much need to be replaced...there is no saving them...axles aernt too expensive though, you can prob get them for around $50 a piece at local auto parts store

Again like Marcs is suggesting, the easiest fix, both time, money, and labor-wise, is to buy a new or remanned halfshaft from Napa or Autozone. Make sure the diameter, length, and number of splines match your old halfshaft. They typically come with a lifetime warranty.
