Default d16z6 swap on a 93 civic dx

my bro bought a car from a small dealership n he didnt know much bout cars...n now the car dead... i look at the engine and it was swap to d16z6 and they using p06 ecu. it doesnt run rite.. i now it must run p28.. after my bro bought the car i test drive it.. it doesnt run rite... i drive for awhile then the car just die..... had to wait like 10mins to start again... the i drive the car home then i try to fix it... i take out the distributor and check the inside of the distributor it got engine oil n there.. and then i bought a new distributor for it then the car crank but it wont start the car... i havent check the main relay yet... cuz i dunno how to test it...

the problem i think is the fuel pump, when the pump gets old, it works and then it stops working and then you have to wait for the car to start again.... but if you want to test the relay... hold the relay in your hand and turn the key to the on position and it should click and you should hear the fuel pump running and when the check engine comes off it the fuel pump stops... but if it does not do that then is the relay....

START with getting a p28 ecu!!! wrong fuel/ignition map AND no vtec!!!!

sounds like the main relay, it might have a little less power with the p06 computer, but should still run and function normal, just won't have vtec.

yea the main relay is work fine n feul pump running good... but wen the ddistributor got engine oil n there.. i take out everything in the distributor n put new stuff n there n then it didnt work..... every plugs sparks but it wont turn on......main relay is good fuel pump is good... just dont get the car

there no vtec wire... but it had vtec tho just dont have wires foe it...
