Icon2 can i rechip my ecu?

okay i have a p28 ecu that is already chip. i dont kno what kind of chip they use but its chipped. well earlier i found out that my car is kinda boggin around the 2 1/2 3 1/2rpm range so i switch my stock p72 ecu back and it runs normal.what can cause the ecu to get messed up and is it possible to get it rechip so i'll be able to use it again? and how do i reset my ecu.after i know how to reset it i'll try and use the p28 again and see what happends.

You need to get your car really tuned.

the p72 is way off on that combo. a p73 wouldn't be too hard to tune on that combo with a scan tool and FPR. rechipping your p28 is probably the best bet but i would want it done locally on a dyno if i were you. it's easier to get the a/f spot on than a mail order guess. then again; you have such a standard combo phearable may have a great program for it. it's really close to an ITR
