my buddy has a 02 rsx 5 speed im pretty sure its a k20a3 correct me if im wrong but he says that when its low on oil it will redline a 4k

would that be a ecu tellin it not to rev that far so it protects the motor or what..could someone tell me what the deal is

if it's running out of oil why is he abusing his car and trying to rev high anyways? Change your oil and don't worry about it.

I wish Honda put a rev limiter on their cars when the engine is cold... Like not past 3500 RPMS or something? That would be cool. Kind of like how the VTEC won't engage if it is cold...
