What happens when you get to 4300, does the rpm bounce or does it struggle at all?

my friend's accord did something like this. it was running out of oil, and either trying to protect itself from oil starvation or it didn't have enough oil pressure to engage vtec.

Fast bouncing is probably a rev limiter. Slower bouncing/revving can happen when the A/F ratio is off.

what chip are you using?

if you answer ebay, ditch it and find the correct ECU for your motor and go from there.

My turbo ls motor did that after hours of being on the dyno. It ended up being a thermostat ground so check that just in case.

does your speedometer work. Because if the ecu thinks its going 0 mph then it will use launch control all the time. (if programmed)
