will a gsr superchager fit??
it will fit, the difference between the intake manifolds on the B18c/1/5 and the b16a/2/3/b is just the shape. the side that bolts to the head its self is indentical.
well im gonna say that you are the moron here cause jrsc has diffrent part numbers for gsr and type r because there is diffrence in the intake manifold gsr is its own seperate intake b16 and type r are the same

thats odd, because the GSR in my back yard has a b16 intake manifold, and just incase your new on the whole root style forced induction systems, thats where it goes. IDC if the part numbers are different, the supercharger will fit.
The B18C1 and B16/B18C5 have a very different bolt pattern on the cylinder head on the intake side. This is a well known fact in the honda world, most of you answered wrong. Now whether or not the JRSC has a universal bolt pattern that will fit both heads, I have no idea, but I highly doubt it.

then why is this pretty much generic?

dude seriously it will not fit i have been working on hondas for 10 years now did my first b16 swap in 99 gsr head and b16 head are not the same bolt pattern this is common knowledge to anyone that does swaps on a regular basis if you are really not sure call jrsc and ask them they will tell you the same thing i am telling you
It will not fit. The OEM manifolds are totally different. The skunk2 manifolds are totally different. If you look at the link someone posted to the skunk2, it's NOT universal - it says b16, b17, and b18c5; it does NOT say B18c1.
The P72 head has a totally different bolt pattern and runner design.

please listen to everyone who says it will not fit. it doesn't. i have a good 9 years of working on Honda's and know with 100% certainty that it will not work.
but i hear that with a mazda nut and a little weld that it will fit.
link to why i posted this. look at the 10th & 11th post.

B18C1 and B16A/B18C5 have different intake manifold bolt patterns.
A little research will go a long way. Take a look at JR's website. The JRSC part number for the intake manifold for the GSR is 051-095. For the 99 Civic Si and ITR it's 051-264.

also, correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't the coolant passages different as well? i don't know if it's different with the superchargers but at least on the oem design i believe they are different.
pr3 heads from the b16/type R have a different bolt pattern from the p72's found on the gsr head.

Take a look at that - "Fits B18C1 Engines only". You really should go look at that head you have, see what code is cast into it. I'm betting its not a GSR, more like a B16 with welded chaimbers. We need more doctors like you, our population is getting too high.

OP - it won't bolt on right. You'll have to do a whole lot of crap to make it work, and will be cheaper to sell if off and buy the right kit.
Post this in Forced Induction unless you're satisfied with the answers you've gotten. This forum is fairly useless on technical questions like this because its full of whiners, name-callers and people who simply have no idea. Go to the technical forums for technical questions...
