Default green 93 Del Sol

https://post.craigslist.org/bal/S/ct...GWKwMVUc/bhd3q

The description gives most of the details. Have had the car since the summer but trying to get rid of it before heading out of the country this winter.

May possibly be willing to consider reasonable offers for a reliable everyday car (Honda, Toyota), but we're not willing to put money on top. Cash only, local buyers only.

your del sol is not a VTEC, its a del sol SI. and i dont know why you listed vtec b16 in the title when it has a d16z6? unless it is a del sol vtec that has been swapped to a single cam.

and what is this over $16,000 in modifications, i didnt know a skunk2 front strut bar costs $450 and a skunk2 rear lower tie bar costs $575 lol. there are so many other things wrong with this for sale thread...but i'll just stop here.

its a clean car though, but maybe you should lower your asking price and not put so much BS and try to rip people off. just sayin...

finding someone who wants a pakistan flag on wheels isn't exactly going to be easy either.

I believe the VTEC part is correct, and you can make it out in one of the photos in the link. What I posted on CL pulls info from the original description of the car as it was sold to me by the owner who did most of the modifications himself. I can't vouch for how that total figure of mods was derived.

I own this car, but I'm not the driver. I'm a she not he, and cars are far from my specialty. What I do know is that the ride is pretty smooth, its a fun car, and makes way too much damn noise and gets too much attention.

I appreciate the feedback. If anyone is interested or has any doubts, you're still welcome to come check it out.

you may very well have a vtec engine in your car, but saying your car is the VTEC trim level is incorrect. you have a SOHC vtec d16z6 engine which was only found in the del sol si model. the VTEC model came with a DOHC b16a3 engine

Thanks for explaining. What's the difference between the two models?

I edited the ad posting and will look into it when I can. The person we bought the car from did have the engine replaced because the mileage of the engine is much lower than that of the car itself.

i believe the only difference in the two models is the engine. the del sol vtec had the b16 with 160horsepower, while the del sol si had the d16z6 which produces around 120 horsepower. the del sol vtec was produced in signifigantly lower numbers as well making them carry their value a little better

Thanks for the info. I confirmed from the driver of this car that it is the b16 engine.

no i'm sorry but the picture that you originally had up of the engine bay, was clearly a single cam, it is not a b16
